They are in our dialect called “ceppelliate”, they are artisanal half-moon shaped shortcrust pastries filled with Italian fruit preserve with a very high percentage of fresh fruit, lemon and hazelnut cream. This delicate for the eyes and the palate pastry is covered with either powdered sugar or grain sugar.
